Second, The next Snake Pliskin movie might just be escape from New Orleans. Apparently the city is being terrorized by a transvestite gang.
Third, tonight I hit Archives II over at College Park. I'm excited about it. I am such a research geek.
Fourth, still having mood swings on Iraq. I won't comment further until there's more developments. But on the domestic front today's Supreme Court ruling apparently means that "Common Article 3 of Geneva aplies as a matter of treaty obligation to the conflict against Al Qaeda." Over at Scotus blog Marty Lederman points out that this would mean prohibitations of "cruel treatment and torture," and "outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment" apply. Prior to the Bush administration I'd have taken that as a given. These days I'm instead quite thrilled. Whoo!
