Somewhat shockingly, the current Get Fuzzy strips in the post are censored alternatives. There's been a whole alternate run for the past few days on the websites. This really surprised me, because I was rather amused by the homebrew beer plotline. It totally stands on its own. Here's the censored strips.

I'm not sure on this, but I'm going to tentatively call Get Fuzzy my favorite comic strip (newspaper comics that is) of all time. There's a lot of strong contenders out there, but I can't think of any that combine the continuity and the funny quite so effectively. That and it's not in any way about children. I wonder how much I would have enjoyed it when I was a kid. Who knows.

Anyhow, quick shout out to hello_world who first recommended it to me a few years before the Post picked it up. Good call there.
