Quick question: Any reason I shouldn't get a Mac Book Pro or a Panasonic Toughbook

I'm probably going to bite the bullet and get a new laptop soon. Since I'm hard on my laptops I was originally thinking Panasonic Toughbooks which have the downside of being freaking expensive. I'm also considering just going with a Mac Book or Mac Book Pro. I've heard good things about them, amalthya managed to survive Africa, and they can dual-boot so I can still run my PC software.

So I'm opening the floor to advice. Are there durable laptop options I'm not considering? Anything I should look for or avoid within these models?
