Considering taking this journal friends-only

A recent post by regyt reminded me that now that I have an eponymous blog under typepad, I may as well take my LJ friends-only. This will obviously inconvenience people who object on principle to going to the minimal work it takes to get a LJ. Also, there's a couple people still on my friends list that I don't actually know. Nows a great time to say hi, I'm pretty liberal with friending so a quick greeting or comment here will do the job.

Those without LJs are welcome of course to comment on this decision. For everyone else here's a quick poll.
Poll #1072964 Future of my LJ

Should I take my LJ friends-only

Yes, makes sense to keep a safe place for personnal/uncensored comments.

No, keep it public.

Assuming I go friends only, should I try to find a way to dual-post my blog entries to this LJ

Naw, no point.

Don't care.

Keep your current LJ and your blog completely separate

I'd be interested in a blog LJ feed.
